Paintsville woman on national council

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A Paintsville woman has been appointed to the National Republican Congressional Committee’s Business Advisory Council in recognition of her contributions to the Republican Party.

Christy Henry will represent Kentucky and is expected to play a crucial role in the GOP’s efforts to involve top business people in government reform, party leaders said.

The council is part of the Republican Congressional Committee and is dedicated to making sure that small business has a voice in Washington, leaders said.

Henry, the owner of Sandy Valley Fasteners in Paintsville, is the daughter of John Henry of Hager Hill.
