Area students earn degrees from MSU
MOREHEAD — Thirteen Johnson County, seven Martin County and two Lawrence County students earned their degrees from Morehead State University during the 2002 fall semester.

Graduating with honors from Johnson County were Sharlena Gay Daniels, Oil Springs, bachelor of arts, Cum Laude; Andrea Darlene Hall, Paintsville, bachelor of arts, Summa Cum Laude; and Tanya Yvonne Pelphrey, Hager Hill, bachelor of science in nursing, Magna Cum Laude.

Graduates also included Scottie Ruben Bentley, Staffords-ville, bachelor of arts; Jennifer Dawn Biddle, East Point, master of arts in education; Martha J. Blair, Staffordsville, bachelor of business administration; Laura E. Fitch, Hager Hill, bachelor of arts; Joseph Allen Johnson, Paintsville, bachelor of university studies; John Scott Maggard; Hager Hill, bachelor of business administration; Kenneth D. McKenzie, Wittensville, bachelor of university studies; Jeffery Lee Ramey, Van Lear, bachelor of arts; Priscilla Richmond, Van Lear, bachelor of science in nursing; and Heather N. Williams, Paintsville, bachelor of arts.

Graduating with honors from Martin County were Charles Eric Evans, Warfield, bachelor of business administration, Cum Laude; and Brenda K. Sartin, Inez, bachelor of business administration, Magna Cum Laude.

Graduates also included Carol S. Chafins, Beauty, bachelor of science; Bobby Jo Hammonds, Inez, bachelor of arts; Ada Michelle Lowe, Pilgrim, bachelor of arts; Tiffany D. Parsons, Pilgrim, bachelor of business administration; and Katina Denise Ward, Tomahawk, master of arts in education.

Graduates from Lawrence County included Joey Randall Cecil, Louisa, master of arts; and Sharon R. Sparks, Louisa, bachelor of arts.
