Brown, Parker to play in All-Star Classic
LOUISVILLE — Two of coach Randy Anderson's Lawrence County Bulldogs will showcase their hardwood talents Saturday as seniors Adam Brown and Steven Driver take part in the Derek Smith-Executive Inn All-Star Classic at Dupont Manual High School in Louisville.

The event is sponsored by Executive Inn and endorsed by University of Louisville star Derek Smith, who will be on hand for each contest.

Nine games will highlight the day starting at 10 a.m., with Brown and Driver playing in game eight and nine at 6:45 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The talent and competition level of the event will be exceptional, with several standout players from the 15th and 16th regions and all over the state showcasing their basketball skills to a multitude of college coaches that will be on hand.

Brown hits the hardwood in game eight at 6:45 as a member of a 12-player West squad that will battle the East All-Stars. Brown's teammates include Boyd County's Marcus Adams, Shelby Valley's Paul Terry Fleming, Ashland's Jeremy Howell and Pike Central's Barry Sanders.

Driver will get into action at 8 p.m. as a member of the West squad, which includes 16th Region standout Marques Dawson of Rose Hill Christian, Powell County's Jeremy Jones and Simon Kenton's Michael Brock.
