Pike tech center to be site of E-business seminar

PIKEVILLE — Are you running a 21st century business with 19th century technology?

If you want to jump on the emerging technology bandwagon but aren’t sure where to start, an E-business seminar will be held Tuesday, May 13, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Pikeville College Community Techn-ology Center at 119 College Street. The event is free and lunch will be provided.

Seminar topics include “Connecting Your Business To The Future, Rural Development of Broadband, E-Commerce” and “What Linux Can Do For Your Business.”

This event is hosted by the Pikeville Kentucky Profession-al Linux Users’ Group and sponsors include BellSouth, Floyd County Chamber of Commerce, Mikrotec Internet Services, Pike County Chamber of Commerce and SouthEast Telephone Inc.
