Ratliff named Nurse of the Year at TRMC
LOUISA —Three Rivers Medical Center of Louisa recognizes Dian Ratcliff, MSN, as the Nurse of the Year for 2003. She is a resident of the Grayson area and has been with the hospital since 1977.

Ratcliff is the nursing director of the emergency department and has offered her expertise in emergency critical care, medical/surgical and obstetrics. She is an instructor with BLS. ACLS and PALS. She has obtained her Associate and Bachelor degrees from Morehead State university in the field of nursing. She has also succeeded in receiving her Master of Science Degree in Nursing Administration from Bellarmine College in Louisville.

Ratcliff will be Three Rivers Medical Center's representative during the annual banquet of the Kentucky Nursing Association that recognizes over 100 recipients throughout the state for receiving the coveted distinction as Nurse of the Year at their respective hospital or institution of employment. The special recognition banquet and program will be held in Louisville this month.

Ratcliff is married to Larry Ratcliff and has two daughters, Lauren and Lacey. She is the daughter of May Pennington of Webbville and the late Shelby Pennington.
