Panther All-Stars win cheer competition
On Saturday, April 26, 2003, The Panther All-Star cheerleading squad from Cheer And Tumble Studio in Grayson, Ky. competed in the Atlantic Cheer and Dance Championships in Williams-burg, Virginia. The squad took 1st place in the Small Senior Advanced Division and the Grand Champion award beating 41 other squads. There were squads from Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, New York and Kentucky. The squads ranged from 6 yr old and under age group to College Coed squads. The competition took place at Bruton High School in Williamsburg, VA. The awards ceremony was at the Royal Palace Theatre in Busch Gardens.

The girls on the squad are a mixture of twenty sixth through twelfth graders from the following area schools; Boyd Co. Middle School, Boyd Co. High School, East Carter Middle School, East Carter High School, West Carter High School, Lawrence Co. High School, Russell High School, in Kentucky and Tolsia High School in West Virginia. The squad is coached by Kelly Littleton and Shelly Steiner.
