Our Lady of the Way Hospital recently recognized the following employees for their years of service. Martin Our Lady of the Way Hospital's (OLWH) annual Employee Recognition Awards Luncheon was held Thursday, May 8 at the Jenny Wiley State Park May Lodge.

"We have the best healthcare employees in Kentucky," states Kathy Stumbo, president and chief executive officer. "We value their years of service and dedication to OLWH."

Ms. Waneta Newsome, director of volunteers, received special recognition for her fifty-five years of service. Other employees honored for 2003 were: 20 years of service Pam Anderson, Linda Daniels, Betty Little; 15 years of service Blanche Pelphrey; 10 years of service Mary Martin, Larry Robinson, Jenny Twiss; 5 years of service Chris Dye, Dian Flanagan, Brenda Francis, Kay Fugate, Valerie Hall, Jamie Martin, Carol Jo May, Carla McGlone, Elisha Tackett, and Terry Wright.

Employees in attendance were eligible for a number of door prizes and all employees recognized for years of service received a service pin to commemorate the special event.

OLWH is a not-for-profit facility located in Martin, Kentucky and a member of Catholic Health Initiatives with headquarters in Denver, Colorado.
