MCA fourth graders recognized
The Duke University Talent Identification Program (TIP) is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to identifying and serving academically talented students nationwide. The 4th/5th Grade Talent Search is a component of that organization, which seeks to encourage the development of younger students' intellectual and academic talents. Only those students scoring in the 90th percentile or above on standardized achievement tests, such as the Comprehensive Test of Basic Skills (CTBS), are invited to participate in this program. Almost 70 percent of the 2002-2003 fourth grade class at Mountain Christian Academy received an invitation to this prestigious program.
