Officers installed for 2003

LOUISA ó The GFWC/ KFWC Louisa Womanís Club met May 5 at Lisaís Front Porch with president Claudette Johnson in charge.

The pledge to the flag was given and Edith Hall led the prayer. Minutes of the last meeting and the treasurerís report were read and accepted.

Vice president Patricia Lee introduced Phoebe McCoy, past governor of GFWC, who did the installation of 2003 officers. They include president, Barbara Greer; vice president, Patricia Lee; secretary, Bessie Lee Moore; and treasurer, Jeanine Jett.

Lee and Carol Davis were hostesses for the occasion. A meal was served and enjoyed by Ruth Ann Johnson, Hall, Elaine Butler, Frances Cain, Myrtle Maloney, Ola Mae Noel, Virginia Salmons, Pearl Greer, Greer, JoAnn Hanley, Davis, McCoy, Phyllis Waller, Claudette Johnson, Bessie Lee Moore and Jeanine Jett.

The next meeting will be the annual picnic at Phyllis Wallerís home at Wilsonís Point in High Bottom June 2 at 6 p.m. Each member will bring a covered dish. Greer will outline the yearís program and appoint the committee chairmen.
