KCAP is the recipient of a $500 Pamida grant
LOUISA — The Louisa Pamida and the Pamida Foundation announce the awarding of $500 to KCAP. The funds for the grant were made possible by Pamida's Charitable Golf outing held in June of 2002, which raised a total of $685,950 to be used towards fulfilling the Foundation's goal of making a difference in Pamida hometowns and communities.

The grant to KCAP will be used to support educating children, parents, and school staff in local school.

"Pamida is committed to taking an active part in the continued growth and well being of the Louisa community," said Jeff Higgins, store team leader of the Louisa Pamida.

Michael Hopkins, Pamida president, explained, "At Pamida, corporate citizenship is more than a responsibility, it's a privilege. We are proud to support a variety of charitable, family and children's organizations and community events, and are pleased to support KCAP in the Louisa community.
