Great weather, fun during jubilee

by Maureen Dosier | Lawrence County Arts Council

We had perfect weather on the first day of summer for the Yatesville Lake Family Jubilee. The arts and crafts were wonderful, the food was delicious, the boat rides were fun, and the music throughout the day was awesome.

Special thanks to Tom Baisden, Julie Boggs and Mitch Copley for their solo performances. Congratulations to Savannah Raye Cyrus, a talented first grader at Trinity Christian School, for winning the Yatesville Lake Family Jubilee Poster Contest. She won a $50 Savings Bond and presented her winning poster to Rocky Adkins.
