Free vision screenings to start Saturday

ASHLAND — Members of several local Lions Clubs will be conducting free vision screenings this year as part of the Summer Motion activities in Ashland’s Central Park.

The eye screenings will be from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, July 5, and noon-6 p.m. Sunday, July 6.

General vision screenings will be available for members of the entire family. Tests will include photoscreening, eye charts, distance and near visual acuities, and visual field screening. Glaucoma screenings for adults over the age of 40 will also be available. The screenings are free, non-invasive and take about 15 minutes.

For further information, you can contact your local Lions Club.
