Red Cross to conduct training programs

ASHLAND The Boyd County Chapter of the American Red Cross will conduct the following training programs in July at the Chapter office, 207 15th St., on the fourth floor, Ashland. Persons of all ages can benefit by taking these possibly lifesaving programs.

On July 8 and 10, CPR /first aid classes will be offered. Attendance is required both nights from 5:30 until about 10 p.m. at the Red Cross office. The fee is $42, which covers book, certificates, and instruction.

Site training can be provided at church, business, or another meeting place for groups of eight or more with 10 days advance notice.

For more information and registration, call Mary or Don at the Red Cross office (606) 325-1626, Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. - noon or 1 - 4 p.m. All participants must pre-register and pre-pay.
