LOUISVILLE — Kelley Shalegh Brown and Stephen Ray Reeves of Louisville were united in marriage June 1 at The Water Tower. The ceremony was officiated by Michael Sharp and was followed by a reception held in their honor.

Brown is the daughter of Vern and Denise Brown of Louisville and the granddaughter of the late Henry Kelley and the late Duleth and Ineus Brown. She is a graduate of Morehead State University and is employed with The Courier-Journal.

Reeves is the son of John Reeves and Jeri Burchett, both of Paintsville, and the grandson of Mary and George McKinney and Mable Reeves, all of Ashland, and the late John Reeves. He is a graduate of Morehead State University and is attending the University of Louisville School of Medicine.

Brown was escorted by her father, Vern Brown, and brother, Derek Brown. She chose her sister, Tamara Brown, as her maid-of-honor. Bride’s maids were her best friend, Allison Keown, and the groom’s sister, Stephanie Reeves. Mallory True, Annalise DelRio and Madeline DelRio, cousins of the bride, were flower girls.

Reeves chose his father as his best man. He was attended by friends Josh Sparks and Jeff Zwick. Jacob True, cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer.
