HANOVER, W.Va. Kristi O'Dell of Kenova, W. Va., and Curtis Anthony Marcum of Louisa were united in a wedding ceremony Dec. 7, 2002, at Hanover Baptist Church in Hanover, W.Va., with Rev. Ronnie Lester officiating.

The bride is a graduate of Marshall University with a master's degree in speech language pathology. She works as a speech therapist at King's Daughters' Medical Center and is the daughter of Carly O'Dell of Hanover.

The groom is a graduate of Alice Lloyd College with a bachelor's degree in biology and Eastern Kentucky University with a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy. He works as rehab director with Carter Nursing and Rehab in Grayson. He is the son of Bernard and Judy Marcum of Louisa.

Nuptial music was provided by Norman and Tonya Hayes of Ulysses and Alberta Stacy of Hanover.

Kelly Terry of Kenova, twin sister of the bride, and Wendy Damron of Beckley, W. Va., friend of the bride, were matrons of honor. Bridesmaids included Jan Click and Missy Jordan, both of Huntington, Lisa Eggleston of Charleston, W.Va., Susan Powell of St. Marys, W.Va., Marianna Sexton of Proctorville, Ohio, and Angela Turner of Beckley, all friends of the bride.

Groomsmen included Michael Sloas, cousin of the groom, Tom Holbrook, and Jamie Thornsberry, all of Louisa, Norman Hayes of Ulysses, Scott Brown of Jonesboro, Tenn., John Kidd of Betsy Layne, Jay Powell of St. Marys, and Brent Terry of Kenova, all friends of the groom and bride.

Other attendants included Alicia Profit of Hanover, guest attendant; Gwen Brown of Jonesboro, Talila Kidd of Betsy Layne, Elizabeth Horn of Pinch, W.V. and Deanna Williams of Arlington, Va., all special friends of the groom and bride.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Larry J. Harless Community Center in Gilbert, W.Va.

Following a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico, the couple resides at 12917 Princeland Heights Courts, Ashland.
