The Board of Directors of Citizens National Bank voted unanimously recently to create a scholarship program at Pikeville College to help students from Johnson, Magoffin, Floyd and Pike counties. Above, Dennis T. Dorton, President and CEO of Citizens National Corporation, presented the first check for the scholarships to Pikeville College President Harold H. Smith and Vice President for Advancement Terry L. Spears, at Citizens National’s new Pike County branch in Weddington Plaza. “We are pleased that Citizens National has offered their support for students from our region,” said Smith. “This scholarship program will be a tremendous asset for our region for many years.”
