Reading 4 Kids Campaign sponsored in Louisa by UK Robinson Scholars Program

Parents and grandparents of pre-school youth are invited to bring their children to the Reading 4 Kids Campaign event sponsored by the University of Kentucky Robinson Scholars Program. The program will be held at the Lawrence County Public Library, Louisa, Saturday, July 26, beginning at 1:30 p.m. for a reading of the Dr. Seuss series by current Robinson Scholars from the community.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult and there will be no charge for the event. If you have any questions, contact the office in Hazard at (606) 435-2186 or via email at

The purpose of this community service project is to promote the enjoyment of reading, recognize the importance of reading to young children, and to advocate for the development of reading skills in children.
