|Coming events for the LC Septemberfest|
|LOUISA — The Louisa Younger Woman's Club will sponsor its annual Septemberfest 5K/10K Walk/Run Saturday, Sept. 6, beginning at 8 a.m. at Lawrence County High School.|
Registration will take place at 7 a.m. at the high school or you may pre-register at Hostetter's Sporting Goods in Louisa beginning Friday, Aug. 22.
T-shirts will be awarded to the first 50 entries. The registration fee is $10 pre-registered and $12 the day of the race. Medals and trophies will be awarded and trophies will be awarded to the group having the largest participation and to the youngest and oldest walker.

The Louisa Younger Woman's Club will sponsor its annual Septemberfest pageant on Tuesday, Sept. 2, at 6 p.m. in the Louisa Middle School.
The contest is for children ages birth through 12 years of age and is open to all surrounding counties.
Categories are Prettiest Baby Girl/Boy, 0 to 12 months; Cutest Toddler Girl/Boy, 13 months to 2 years; Tiny Miss/Mister, 3 years to 5 years; Little Miss Septemberfest, 6 years to 8 years; Young Miss Septemberfest, 9 years to 12 years. There will also be a photogenic category.
The entry fee is $20 for the pageant and $5 per picture for the photogenic category. Photo sizes are 5 x 7 or 8 x 10 only, and the photos should not be in frames.
Registration will be Tuesday Sept. 2, from 4 to 6 p.m at the Louisa Middle School or The Prince And The Pauper Children's Resale Shop in Louisa beginning Friday, Aug. 22, or by mail to Louisa Younger Woman's Club, P.O. Box 12, Louisa, KY 41230. All entries must be received by Saturday Aug. 30. No registrations will be accepted after 6 p.m. on Tuesday Sept. 2. Parents should include entry fees with their registration.
To pre-register, send the following information: category, child's name, age, sex, birth date, weight, height, eye color, hair color, child's hobbies, parent's names, address, and phone number.
All judges' decisions are final and no score sheets will be given out.
