Burke, Robertson receive TRMC scholarships

LOUISA Three Rivers Medical Center of Louisa presented scholarships to two graduates of Laurence County High School and Tolsia High School.

Three Rivers Medical Center supports a scholarship program for youth and invests in the continuing education of the future of young men and women who will ultimately become the leaders of tomorrow.

CEO Greg A. Kiser, MHA, presented scholarships to Kaylyn Jo Burke and Melanie Dawn Robertson as they continue their academic efforts to achieve their future careers.

Burke, daughter of Teresa and Joe Burke, received the hospital scholarship for Lawrence County High School. She plans to pursue a career in nursing and will be attending Morehead State University in the fall.

Robertson, daughter of Cindy and Tim Robertson, was awarded the hospital scholarship for Tolsia High School in Fort Gay, W.Va. She plans to attend Marshall University with the intent to pursue a career in sociology.
