Reunions

Pinkerton -Young

The family of Milt and Hermia Pinkerton Young will hold its annual reunion Sunday, Aug. 31, at the Yatesville State Park Marina Shelter. Participants will meet at noon and dinner will be at 1 p.m. Watch for signs on Kentucky Rt. 3. Everyone is invited to attend.



Moore

The annual Moore family reunion for the descendents of William Moore (Nancy Thompson and Lucinda Miller) will be held Sunday, Aug. 31, at Mattie Methodist Church beginning at noon. Branham

The Branham reunion will be held at Isaac Park Church Saturday, Aug. 23, beginning at 7 p.m. Supper will be served at 10 p.m. Singers include Harold Branham Family, Jr. Branham and Redeemed, New Hearts, Billie Horn and Friends and others. Everyone is welcome.





Jackson

The annual Jackson reunion will be held Sunday, Aug. 31, at 11 a.m. at Snyder Park Shelter #3 in Springfield, Ohio.

These are the descendents of John and Martha Hall Jackson. Their children were Elisha, who married first to Rachael Conley, second to Rebecca Conley and third to Louise Caudill; Robert, who married Mary Elizabeth Satyers; James Franklin, who married Mary Satyers; Robert, who married Mary Elizabeth Satyers; Elizabeth (Betty), who married Alexander Satyers; and Gabriel, who married Josephine Litteral.

Bring a dish for a potluck dinner. Coffee, lemonade, and eating utensils will be furnished. If you want soft drinks, please bring them.

Fitch

The annual Fitch reunion will be held Sunday, Aug. 31, beginning at noon at Boones Landing (turn off Route 23 onto Route 32, follow signs.) Everyone is welcome.



Kitchen-Ward

The 43rd annual reunion of the late Lonnie J. Ward and Ertle Mae Kitchen Ward was held Sunday, Aug. 3, at the Senior Citizens Community Center, Fort Gay, W. Va.

The prayer was by Rhonda Kay Ward Alley.

Those attending included Marie Lowe Ward, and Jim and Anne Ward Hunter, all of Yolyn W. Va.; Lonnie C. Ward and wife, Geri, of Milton, W. Va.; Ronnie J. Lee Ward and wife, Johnnie, of Milton, W. Va.; Michael David Ward and wife, Cathy, and children, Mikael David II, and Tawny Elizabeth, of Hurricane, W. Va.; Loran V. Ward and friend, Maybell Sharrett of Barboursville, W. Va., and son, James Loran Ward of Madison, Ala.; Bary Mark Myers of Hurricane, W. Va.; Celia Ward Little and son, Paul E. Little and wife, Mylessia Little and daughter, Misty Anne, all of Minnie, his son, Paul Nicholas Little and wife, Natoshea Renee, and baby daughter, Kennedi Isabella little of Prestonsburg; Mitchell and Kim Brumfield of Louisa; Amanda Brumfield Jordan and husband, Roger, of Blaine; Virginia Ward Thompson and husband, Ernest of Louisa; Mari Thompson Davidson and husband, Jesse, of Taylorsville, Ga.; Brea Marie Jones and friend, Nick, of Cartersville, Ga.; Dak Montgomery Jones of Huntington, W. Ward and wife, Carol Holbrook Ward, of Louisa and grandsons, Cameron Ward Tillett and Cadem Timothy Tillett, of Paducah; Margaret Quillen and son, Tom, of Columbus, Ohio; Mike and Celia Elizabeth Gray of Johnstown, Ohio; and Jim Seates of Florida.

The door prize, a set of sofa pillows, were won by Fred Davis.

Rook was played with gifts being won by Shannon Thompson and Marie Davidson.

A prize for guessing beans in a jar was won by James Loran (Jim) Ward.

Everyone enjoyed great food and fellowship.

Participants voted to have the family reunion in the same place next year.

The youngest child was Kennedi Isbelle Little, winning a prize.



Hall

The family of the late Lige and Ella Hall will hold its 27th Hall family reunion at 11 a.m. at Ernie Hall’s house in Fallsburg. Dinner will start at 1 p.m. Bring a covered dish. The family will also hold our auction, so bring something to auction off. Proceeds will go to next year’s reunion. Signs will be posted. Wilks
