Park to host Elk Night Sept. 20
FRANKFORT Jenny Wiley State Resort Park will sponsor its second annual Elk Night on Saturday, Sept. 20.

Among special activities slated are morning elk tours Saturday and Sunday, a 2 p.m. Saturday presentation on the state's elk restoration program, and square, folk and country line dancing starting at 8 p.m Saturday. The cost for the tour is $10 per person. There is no admission charge for the presentation nor the evening dance.

Another highlight is a special dinner menu featuring elk meat loaf, pot pie, and roast. The meal, which will include several vegetables and dessert, will be served from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the lodge dining room. The cost is $15.95 for an adult and $8.95 for a child 12 and under.
