Hospice offers volunteer training
ASHLAND Community Hospice will offer volunteer training for those persons interested in donating their time and talents to volunteer in the new Hospice Care Facility.

Volunteer opportunities include serving as receptionist/greeter, dietary assistant, providing caregiver time out, companionship and spiritual care support. Volunteers may be asked to run errands or perform handyman-type chores at the new facility also.

Fundraising and special events provide another area where volunteers may assist with Community Hospice,

The volunteer orientation will be held Nov. 5, beginning at 9 a.m. and dismissing at 3 p.m. The sessions will be held at Community Hospice located at 1538 Central Avenue, Ashland.
