Youth group to assist Lions Club
The Fort Gay Area Lions Club will be making apple butter Saturday, Oct. 25, on the vacant lot near the Senior Citizens Center in Fort Gay, W.Va.

Quarts will be sold for $6 each with all proceeds going to purchase eyeglasses for the needy or for other charitable activities of the club.

The Lions will be assisted by HOPE, the Silver Creek United Baptist Youth Group. They will have a bake sale and religious T-shirt sale with all proceeds going to the Lions Club.

"I am so proud of them and their effort to become involved in community service," said Ted Collins, president of the Lions Club.
