Our deepest sympathy goes out to the families of Emery Cantrell, Lundy Arms, Claude Robinson, Barbara Vanderpool, Carson Jenkins, Francis Picklesimer, Carl Vanderpool and Glyndia Picklesimer.

Get well wishes go to Tracey Moore of Tipp City, Ohio; Dewey Picklesimer of Lexington; Carol Pelphrey of Staffordsville; and Vel Blair.

Mitchel Baldwin was the Wednesday all day guest of his brother, James E. Baldwin and family.

Gene May and granddaughter, Megan, visited Mr. and Mrs. Corbet Jenkins Tuesday evening at Lucasville, Ohio.

Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Arms and daughters, Mechelle and Cassie, were the Saturday guests of Mrs. Arms's mother, Barbara Goodson at Ashland.

Several attended church at Hoods Fork Church Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. James L. Baldwin and son, Mark; and Daniel Lemaster were the weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Lemaster and Lisa at Carrollton.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Conley of Huber Heights, Ohio, were the Saturday night guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Johnson of Hager Hill. They also visited Mrs. Conley's brother, Carol Pelphrey, who is sick.

Cassie Arms was given a 16th birthday party by her mother, Barbara, and her sister, Mechelle Arms, Saturday afternoon. Cake, ice cream, sandwiches, cookies and soda were served to 20 - 25 guests at her home at Asa Creek.

Mr. and Mrs. Dewey M. Mullens, Mr. and Mrs. Carlie Ward, Mr. and Mrs. John Blair and Lowell Pelphrey were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gene May.

Happy September birthdays to John Field Scott, Tracey Moore, Zachery Daniel Pierson, Della Arrington, Fern May, Cinthie Sue Evans ad Emily Beth Anderson.

Happy October birthdays to Grace Carpenter of Paintsville, who was 95 years old. We wish her many more. Also Dorris D. Brown, Hannah Scott, Derek Caudill, Pam Baldwin, Amber Baldwin, Angela Moore, and Amy Crase.

Randall O'Bryan, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jennings visited Elaine Brown Wednesday.
