Patrick, Jurich join PBH trustees

PAINTSVILLE Deborah L. Trimble, administrator and CEO of Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center, has announced the addition of Barbara A. Patrick of Salyersville and Dr. N. Roger Jurich of Paintsville to its board of trustees.

Patrick is a graduate of Salyersville High School and retired in 2000 as director of the Magoffin County Health Department after 27 years of service. She attended Kentucky Christian College, Fugazzi Business College, Nancy Taylor Finishing School and Prestonbsurg Community College. She is also a member of the Big Sandy Health Care Board and Big Sandy ADD Board, president of the Salyersville Kiwanis Club and secretary of the Magoffin County Woman's Club.

She also serves as a member of the Kentucky Public Health Association and the Southern Health Association.

Dr. Jurich has conducted a family medical practice in Prestonsburg for more than 30 years. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in 1965 and his doctorate of medicine in 1971. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice and has held certification as a diplomate since 1977.

Jurich is licensed to practice in Kentucky and North Carolina and holds staff privileges at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center and most other area hospitals and nursing homes. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Kentucky Medical Association, Southern Medical Association, Floyd County Medical Society and the American Society of Tropical Medicine. He also serves on the board of trustees of Classic Bank of Paintsville.
