Barnes addresses group

Speaking at an in-service meeting on Jan. 10 at the Mayo Campus, Dr. Edwin Barnes, from Burlington, N.C., entertained the faculty and staff of Big Sandy Community and Technical College with a collection of witicisim, advice and observations gleaned from a long community college career. Barnes challenged the audience attend to the "little things" and to treat everyone with respect. He cautioned, "It's not what you say that is always important, it is what you do. The little things you do have the potential to change the lives of other people." Pictured are Barnes and Dr. George D. Edwards, president of BSCTC.
