Pathways board presents award
Pathways, Inc. Board of Directors held its 37th annual meeting on Dec. 8. Trainer/motivational speaker, Jim Heisel, of Heisel Associates in Cincinnati, was guest speaker.

Special awards for 20 years' service were presented to James "Duke" Boggs, residential support staff for Developmental Disabilities Support Services (DDSS); Jimmy Doran, DDSS direct support staff in the Greenup Vocational Community Habilitation workshop; Pat Rhodes, DDSS Supported Living Council coordinator/community supports staff supervisor; Barbara Pemberton, nutrition specialist; and Donna Williams, Human Resources assistant. Gwen McGlone, a ten-year employee who supervises the Lawrence County Vocational Community Habilitation workshop in Louisa, was honored as DDSS employee of the year

Pathways presented Women of the Year 2003 awards for outstanding services to women and children in July 2003 at Ashland Community College. Honored were Barbara Davis, Attorney General's Office; Patti Deitsch, UK Institute on Women and Substance Abuse; Linda Dixon, Boyd County Court System; Nancy Hicks, Southern Ohio Sexual Assault Treatment Center; Lisa Henson, Ashland School System; Rebecca Katz, Morehead State University; Mary Osborne, DOVES Domestic Violence Shelter; Lisa Trumbore, Fairview School System; and Carol Faulkner, Pauletta Flannery, Susan Kouns and Donna Williams, all of Pathways.
