A surprise birthday party was given to Faye (Bryant) Blackburn in honor of her 80th birthday at her daughter, Carol's home. All of her six children were present. She was surprised and received many nice gifts and had a wonderful time. Her children, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bryant; Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Bryant; Mr. and Mrs. Estel Dean Bryant, and Faye's daughter Billie Jean, and husband, and Faye's granddaughter, spent Saturday night with their mother and grandmother.

On Saturday, Jan. 24, at Spencer Freewill Baptist Church, starting at 7 p.m. there will be a singing. The proceeds will go towards the building fund. Pastor Roger Ross and Assistant Pastor Ronald Childers welcome everyone. There will be snacks afterwards.
