Ophthalmologists, podiatrist, join staff of Three Rivers

01/12/2007 - LOUISA — John Gross, M.D., and Carter Gussler, M.D., have joined the medical staff of Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa as ophthalmologists, according to Greg A. Kiser, chief executive officer.

They are noted for their expertise and experience in providing state-of-the-art eye care, especially performing cataract surgeries.

Gross received his medical education from the University of Kentucky School of Medicine in Lexington. He also completed an internal medicine internship and his ophthalmology residency at the University of Kentucky.

Gussler received his medical education from University of Kentucky School of Medicine in Lexington. He completed an internal medicine internship at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, and completed his ophthalmology residency at St. Lukes Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

Gross and Gussler will be available to see patients at Leadingham Eye Care in Louisa and have privileges to perform ophthalmology surgeries at TRMC. Appointments can be made by calling their offices in Ashland at (606) 324-2451.

Michelle Murray, D.P.M., has joined the medical staff of Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa as a podiatrist, according to Greg A. Kiser, chief executive officer.

She is noted for her expertise and experience as a foot and ankle specialist treating patients of all ages.

Murray received her podiatric medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York, and completed her podiatric residency at Saint John's Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, N.Y.

She has active privileges with the medical staff of Three Rivers Medical Center. Her office is located on the hospital campus of the Three Rivers Medical Plaza in Suite 204.

Dr. Murray will be residing in the local area. She is currently accepting new patients and is available for podiatric consults immediately. Her office hours will be Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments can be made by calling (606) 638-7427.
