The Lawrence County Tourism Commission will meet in special session at 5:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Lawrence County Courthouse, Louisa. The meeting is open to the public.

Lawrence County Schools' Local Planning Committee will have an open meeting to discuss the district facilities plan at 5:30 p.m. at Louisa West Elementary School.
There will be a blood drive at the Big Sandy Community and Technical College, Prestonsburg campus, 1 Bert T. There will be a legislative briefing at the Ashland Plaza Hotel beginning at 6 p.m. Kentucky Community and Technical College System president and CEO Dr. Michael McCall and Ashland Community and Technical College president and CEO Dr. Greg Adkins will be the hosts.
Ashland Community and Technical College's fundraising arm, the Community and Technical College Foundation of Ashland, Inc., will conclude the "Fulfilling the Promise Campaign" at the Parsons Building, Highlands Museum, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., a short program will be held at 5 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Louisa West Elementary School PTA will have a "Breakfast with Santa," 8 a.m. to noon. Menu consists of pancakes, sausage, bacon and drinks. The Mountain Heritage Committee will have a Christmas Bazaar in the commons area of Fort Gay Middle School beginning at 10 a.m.
The Louisa Christmas Parade will begin at 6 p.m. Parade lineup will be in the Louisa Plaza beginning at 5 p.m. Non-profit organizations are welcome to set up food/craft booths at the Main Street Park. Christmas in the Highlands will be presented at the Historic SIPP Theatre, 7 p.m. This is a benefit show with all proceeds donated to local Toys For Tots. There will be drawings for prizes.
