01/04/2008 - Chad Raymond has graduated with a 3.9 GPA from the Hardin County School System.

He is the son of Staci Kearns McIntyre, Centertown; grandson of former Louisa resident Edward Scott Kearns, who now resides in Arizona, and Sheila Kearns McPeek of Hartford; and great-grandson of the late Henry and Nancy Kearns, who lived in Louisa.

Raymond is 17 years old and graduating five months ahead of his 2008 graduating class. He studied electricity and carpentry and is now a certified carpenter.

Raymond will be making his home with and working for his grandfather, Edward Scott Kearns, in Arizona. He plans to either attend college in the fall of 2008 or serve in the U.S. military while working toward a degree which will allow him to become a counselor.

He was previously involved with the Courthouse Players in Hartford, Pine Knob Theater in Pine Knob, and the Theatre Workshop of Owensboro for two years. He had also auditioned for and received a part in a production at the Horse Cave Theater in Horse Cave.
