Big Sandy Community and Technical College will have Dr. Martin Luther King Day activities beginning at 9:25 a.m. in the Gearheart Auditorium on the Prestonsburg Campus. Events will continue Thursday, Jan. 17, from 10:50 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; and Friday, Jan. 18, a march in honor of Dr. King will begin at 1 p.m. at the Floyd County Courthouse, Prestonsburg.
