The Lawrence County Adult Learning Center in Louisa is now helping veterans receive their high school diploma if they served during World War II, Korean War or Vietnam. The Blaine Volunteer Fire Department is now under new leadership and is accepting applications for volunteers. Anyone who has training or will train and make fire and EMS runs is welcome to attend.
