2025 NFL Honors
4o Most Valuable Player: Josh Allen
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen earned his first AP NFL Most Valuable Player award, narrowly surpassing Baltimore Ravens’ Lamar Jackson in the closest MVP race since 2016. Allen led the Bills to their fifth consecutive AFC East title, amassing 3,731 passing yards and 28 touchdowns. He also contributed 531 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground.
Offensive Player of the Year: Saquon Barkley
Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley was honored as the Offensive Player of the Year. Barkley led the league with 2,005 regular-season rushing yards and totaled 2,447 yards including the playoffs, approaching Terrell Davis’s record. His stellar performance propelled the Eagles to a 14-3 record and a Super Bowl appearance.
Defensive Player of the Year: Patrick Surtain II
Denver Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II received the Defensive Player of the Year award. At 24, Surtain is recognized as one of the premier cover cornerbacks in the league, boasting three Pro Bowl selections and 11 career interceptions.
Coach of the Year: Kevin O’Connell
Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell was named Coach of the Year after leading the team to 14 wins with quarterback Sam Darnold. The Vikings, initially predicted to finish last in the NFC North, contended for a division title and the conference’s No. 1 seed.
Pro Football Hall of Fame Inductees
